Center Day

Kind of a crazy day today!  With all of the assessing taking place this week, I have really slacked on the picture taking and I apologize!!!

Each morning during our Morning Meeting we take the time to greet one another.  We do this in a variety of fun and engaging ways.  Today we did an elbow lock greeting:

We had four different centers today where we worked on the following skills:
  • Character-we created a pig, just like the character Julius in our story.
  • Nouns-we sorted pictures of people and animals
  • Sight Words-we rolled the dice and graphed our six sight words that we have learned so far.
  • Technology- students continued to work on their individualized learning path on ABC Mouse

We started to really focus in on the teen numbers today as well!

Have a wonderful evening!  Tomorrow is our Read-a-thon celebration!

Love,
Mrs. Huettl
